The IBM documentation defines this as: Node Initialization hidden application program PCS_AGNT.EXE acts as the agent for virtual device drivers (VxDs) that use the Message Facility to log messages. When PCS_AGNT.EXE called the Message Facility VxD VDIBMLOG.VXD to copy a message from another VxD into the buffer of PCS_AGNT.EXE, the latter buffer was not large enough to contain the entire message, and overflow occurred.
